Usually, construction machinery below 74.6kW (100hp) is categorized as compact construction machinery. The main products of compact construction machinery includes: excavator, loader, skid steer loader, backhoe loader, telescopic handler, bulldozer, and road roller, and etc. We are sure that compact and multifunctional construction machinery will get rapid development in China in 5 to 10 years.
The company bears the hope of Xugong Group to develop the compact construction machinery, while the technological center is a scientific research team of vigorous young talents. The center is made up of 6 departments, such as Office, Loader Dept. Backhoe Loader Dept. Hydro-electric Drive Dept. Drive Axle Dept. and Technical Modification Dept. and there are 50 technicians all together, and most of them have university education background.
The center has established reward and punishment system and wash out system for all the staff from basic designers to the chief designers. The organization of the center is very clear, and the main business of the center includes: Technology and product plan, new product development and product modification, technical management, technical research, standardization, technology and equipment tools, archive management, services and training, computer and information management, and etc.
With the technician’s efforts in the three years, now the company has two main series of products, respectively the compact loader series with LW10, 16, and 20 series as the representative, the backhoe loader series with WZ 30-25, and XT8 series as the representative, and also more than 20 kinds of main machine that can be installed with various types of attachments, as well as forklift trucks (3T- 20T), drive axle of loader, and etc. At present, the center owns 11 national patents, among which there are 9 practical and new type of patent, and 2 are profile design patents. With several round of major modifications and updates, our products have won a good reputation and made great influence in markets both home and abroad with good performance/price ratio and the advantages of famous brand.
During the modifications on present products to improve the reliability, by independent development and the cooperation with universities, the technological center will continue to increase human and physical capital investment to develop products with core technologies of advanced levels and strong competitive force, so as to face and join the competition in international markets.
The technical innovation is an endless try. Look to the future, there is an arduous task for us to finish. The technological center will take the development strategy of “manufacture each generation of products with innovated technologies, and plan the next generation of product during the research of present one”.
